These terms govern your use of VoteVerse, a civic education platform operated by the Lead Support Development and Youth Empowerment Initiative (LSDYEI), a registered Nigerian non-profit. By using VoteVerse, you agree to these terms.

1. What VoteVerse is

VoteVerse is a free civic education platform for young Nigerians. It provides daily lessons, an AI tutor, quizzes, and rewards. VoteVerse is strictly non-partisan — we do not support or oppose any political party, candidate, or ideology.

2. Who can use it

VoteVerse is for young Nigerians aged 15 to 35. If you are aged 15–17, you must confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to your use of the platform. VoteVerse is free and anonymous — you do not need to provide your real name or contact details.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Use VoteVerse for civic learning only — not for hate speech, harassment, or spreading misinformation.
  • Not use the AI tutor to generate or share political propaganda, discriminatory content, or illegal material.
  • Not attempt to hack, spam, or disrupt the platform.

We reserve the right to block users who violate these rules.

4. AI tutor disclaimer

The VoteVerse AI tutor provides educational information about civic topics — democracy, elections, the constitution, rights, and civic duties. While we strive for accuracy:

  • The AI may occasionally make mistakes. We flag uncertain answers and review them.
  • VoteVerse is not legal advice. For specific legal or electoral matters, consult an expert.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information with the AI tutor. It is not designed to protect private data.

5. Coins and rewards

Coins earned on VoteVerse are virtual points for motivation and learning. They have no cash value. Rewards (e.g. airtime, data) are fulfilled at our discretion and may be subject to availability.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of VoteVerse means you accept the updated terms.
